The Modern Monastery is not yet a physical place. It currently lives in my mind waiting for the right people to come together and make it a physical reality.

Dependent on where The Modern Monastery ends up establishing, I can see the benefits of having access to a wide variety of outdoor activities. Specifically: hiking, kayaking, fly fishing, etc.

Rooms for Rent

If you need a place to get away from it all and focus on that project that you’ve been ignoring for too long, The Modern Monastery can help you achieve the isolation you need while providing community for meals or inspiration when you seek that outlet.

Where will the Modern Monastery be established? That’s a great question! As people and resources come together, so too will the land.

My current hope is that it will be near a city for people who want to utilize the services on a regular basis, but set apart enough that one has easy access to nature and solitude.
